After your order is placed, you will receive a post sale letter describing the process. Basically, once we get your signed paperwork, deposit and credit approval, we will start working on your order. Depending on your purchase it could take between 7 days and a few weeks to fill your order but we will be working to deliver your system as soon as possible. In addition to the equipment on your sales order, you should expect the following with your system:
Depending on your conversations with your sales consultant and depending on your facility's physical set up, your system may be delivered in one of three ways:
Your sales consultant will work with you to get your applications training scheduled as close to your delivery date as possible. Please check with them for any quesitons you may have. We recommend not using your system until your applications expert is there with you to do the initial installation and set up of your new system.
This is one of the most critical parts of your new ultrasound purchase. You applications specialist is a professional trainer with experience on how to operate and set up your specific system. They will walk you through the "knobology" of your system, give you tips and tricks for your new system and set up your presets to match your preferences. Use your trainer as a resource and be prepared to focus on the training.
If you ordered a DICOM system and have an existing network, you applications trainer will help you get your new system onto your network. Please have your IT support person complete our network assessment questionaire provided by your sales consultant. Your IT person should also remain available for that day to the applications person or to a GMI technical support engineer (TSE) in case there are issues getting your system onto the network. Please ask for our network assessment form if you are not familiar with what information you will need to input into your system.
