Historically, Siemens has had little market share in the US for their ultrasound products. This is exactly why they bought Acuson which gave them instant market share and credibility. If Siemens can combine the best technologies from their systems with Acuson, they should continue to have good products for years to come. Siemens is traditionally strong with general radiology, urology, and grayscale Ob/Gyn systems.
