HP/Agilent has been a market leader in the cardiology and vascular systems for many years. All of their systems, from their flagship HP5500 right down to their HP2000, continue to be some of the most reliable and most respected systems in the cardiac/vascular marketplace. HP did such a good job and built such a strong platform that Philips decided to buy them to get into the U.S. marketplace.
